Q.We’re getting married in October and were wondering how much you charge for a wedding invitation and how long does it take.
It usually take 30-60 days depend on the feedback time and complexity of the job.
Q. What Are The Prices for Unique Wedding Invitations
- $750 USD for the illustration, the background theme and the back side off the invitations with the text(complete design of invitation and ready to print). This prices does not include printing (price for printing is $129USD for 100 invites $179USD for 200 please note prices are form 1800postcards.com web site and are subject to change)
Q. I didn’t completely understood how it works. send you a picture or an idea, you make a sketch and send it to me back?
Yes this is true you will be sending your pictures of both of you together or separate, and some background information about you your hobbies, anything special about the ceremony that might effect the design and we can come up for a theme for the invitation. if you have a theme in mind that might save some time brain storming the concept.
Q. If I understood correctly you make only the picture for the cover, right?How do I design the rest of the invitation ?
Not exactly true, if your invitation is in English I will design the back (the ceremony detail text) too. 99% of the time it is nice font in black and white if you would like it to be something else or with the use of more colors images you will have to mention it in the beginning of the process.
Q. I’m in the U.K and wasn’t sure if this would be a problem?
No this is not a problem as long as you have access to email to review the design process and the ability to accept the file as an email attachment for the printer. All the communication will be done vie email but I can talk on the phone too if needs be. I worked with a lot of couples from all continents.
Q. How do you come up with the theme?
The theme / concept is directly related to the happy couple the way they see them selfs, their hobbies, the date for the ceremony, the mood they would like to set for the wedding, what they inspired by, their job?, etc.
Q. Can you tell me if it’s possible to have an outline of NYC on the front, the wedding is in 2009 in NYC Skyline is necessary!!
I can sketch any concept, you have to remember that it is going to be on a postcard size so we don’t want to overload it with details.
Q. Can i use the characters of the wedding invitation for the Thank You Cards, Note Cards, or the Table Cards / Name Card, Place Cards?
Off course you can, you can do it your self or for additional small cost i can set them up for print for you, I had a couple that did stickers and gave them away at the wedding. the sketch is yours to keep.
Q. Does it makes a difference how many guest will we have at our wedding?
No it is not going to change anything, well unless you are having it @ the Madison Square Garden or the Royal Albert Hall and you would like to incorporate it into the the theme of the invitation.
